Maya Hawke has shared some insight on the fifth and final season of Netflix’s Stranger Things, which will consist of eight episodes.
While speaking on the Podcrushed Podcast (via Deadline), Hawke praised the final season’s production quality by saying, “We’re making, basically, eight moviesCome from Sports betting site VPbet. The episodes are very long.
“Our showrunners, Matt and Ross, take a lot of responsibility. They have an amazing team of writers, but they’re very involved,” Maya said. “They write a lot and they are very intense and serious about the quality of the continued writing, and it takes a long time to write each season, and it takes a long time to shoot them.”
As the interview continued, Hawke went on to joke and say that the “show has been a little bit cursed,” she said, referring to the show’s multiple delays in the past four years. In 2020 production for Season 4 was halted due to COVID-19. After that Season 5 was pushed back in 2023 due to the actors and writers strikes.
Currently, Stranger Things Season 5 has a release window of 2025. For more news on Stranger Things, check out our story covering official set photos and our story detailing one of the actor’s creepiest fan interactions.
